I bought a gigabyte g5 with i5 12500 and nvidia 4060. It already has a simple extra cooler it stands on but still reaches 90° CPU at WoW @ max graphics, its 2 months old, do you think this cooler will help improve my laptops lifetime ? Or is already something wrong with it becouse it runs this hot?

My laptop (dell g15 rtx 3050) is amazing for the price I got it and the hinges are amazing (will not break like HP laptops) but mine does not overheat at all no matter what I do
Important announcement! Don't buy a laptop to put on a desk. Buy a pc. Only buy a laptop if you gotta go places. Desktops are better in every way except portability. (I happen to own both)
I did this 2 times a while back, first i just took apart a laptop and hung the mobo to the wall and used some vga cables to get a display, 2nd is when i hot glued a cpu fan (from my old and broken desktop) onto the intake for the cpu fan on the laptop
My gaming laptop has been really slow since it blue screened, and I had to replace the hd, I think getting an ssd might fix it, maybe upgrading from 8gb ram to 16 will alsi help. Should I upgrade it,? It's the Lenovo Legion Y530-15ich I bought in 2019 with a gtx1050. Or just buy/build a new pc instead?
I had a vetroo v5 air cooler in my computer and the cooling was abysmal and made the system a hot box with the gpu reaching 78c in February but switched it out to a deepCool assassin iv now the cpu peaks at 56c and the gpu gets 73c at most when overclocked but typically gets 65c

I'm trying to find the right parts and I'm just paranoid that they're not compatible or I'm just not picking the best parts. hot take here… price/perf a 4060 laptop is better than a desktop pc.. if you buy the cheapest case, ram , power supply, with an i5/7600, and a 4060 ect ect. You're going to be well over a grand, which you can buy a 4060 laptop for (or under). 4060 laptops are extremely close (120 watt versions) in performance. Laptops price/perf fall apart anything higher than 4060 tho
I need help … I have this gaming laptop which i bought it recently and it's new The model is Asus TUF Dash f15 (2022) one of the best gaming laptops in 2022 if I'm not mistaken Recently everytime i open Helldivers 2 or other online games even CS2 in lowest graphics settings it goes up 100% CPU-heat and i think the thermal paste is damaged or went bad
It's great to see tech YouTube talk positively about gaming laptops and even giving advices one how to improve performance and cooling instead of calling all gaming laptops as "potato" just to make people buy their Pre-builds.
As for the prices, I've some laptops thst have great specs like the Asus TUF A15 with the RTX 4060 cost less than most pre-build with similar specs in some tech store.
