  1. I love Anthony Hopkins, but his portrayal of Nixon was horrible. He neither looked nor sounded like him. Lane Smith nailed the voice and damn! he looked like him. Should have won an Emmy for that performance.

  3. As I watch this, I’m thinking if Nixon was president today and he was a Democrat there’s no way they would even have hearings on any of the shenanigans. That shameful before you guys start carrying out about Trump. Absolutely Republicans aren’t gonna stand for it. I’ve had friends say to me I can’t vote for Trump because I’m afraid he won’t leave office and I have to tell my friends that’s that’s terrible wrong thinking I wouldn’t support that.

  4. The departing President's helicopter has been filmed to rise up on the eastern side of reflection pool. should'nt it have been shown to rise from the left side of the final frames showing the Monument? 🤔🤔🤔

  5. Can anybody say thay trump isn’t 10x worse than this guy?! I mean at least Nixon had the nations interest in mind and did make important progress in foreign policy. Compare that to trumps first G8 where he man handled other heads of state like a

  6. Excellent. Cast was superb. Amazing to see the mental breakdown and delusions portrayed so brilliantly by the actor portraying Nixon. How brave of all the creative people that presented the film, giving us such insight to another view of political tragedy. Thank you.

  7. The nation was so shocked by this. In light of what we've been through the last couple of years, the Nixon era seems so much more adult. He made a mistake. He tried to get out of it. He couldn't get out of it, so he left with some dignity remaining to himself, the office, and the nation, in spite of "that sordid affair." I just wish to God that that epic fool Trump had taken a lesson from his elders and betters.

  8. Excellent film. This film gives me a whole new perspective on Nixon as a human being.
They won the election in a landslide, yet for some reason, he felt it was necessary to commit a crime to gather information which in the final analysis was totally useless!

  9. I've never understod why Nixon ever let the one incriminating tape see the light of day, when it could have been easily destroyed without anyone ever being the wiser. Obviously, that would have compounded the crime, but without that tape, he might have survived. As far as anyone knows, it was the only tape, meaning there wasn't a copy of it.

  10. great casting. lane smith hits the bleachers as tricky d. what a sign of things to come … 📉.

enter 'the donald' mk.ii, statesmanship writ by absolute moral bankrupcy, swinging his shamelessness like a weaner and going for kitty. 😱
