If you could get in a space ship and travel at near the speed of light and come back to earth, you litetally time travelled. The earth will be in the future relative to you. You could travel for a year and cone back and 100 years have pased on earth.

2024 Just took my Physics bachelor degree.

I first heard this as an undergraduate student in 2013 and this song contributed to getting me interested in general relativity. I ended up defending my PhD and am currently a postdoc at a national lab studying relativistic effects in particle beams.

This video should be shown to every kid in grade school science class. My six year old asks to watch this every day and says to mommy, "Energy turns into mass. The faster you go, the heavier you get!" He doesn't even have a science class until he gets into second grade, but man, he's gonna blow his science teacher away.

this teaches me more than science class
Now that I think about it, but are there not 4 forces and 12 particles at the very base of the universe? If so, where are the other three great theories? After all E=MC suared represents gravity. What represents the causation behind the existence of electromagnetism, lesser radioactivity and greater radioactivity? What drives their very existence as the fundamental forces of the cosmos? Do we have theories that explain them, that hold up just as well and are just as all encompassing as Einstein's theory is for gravity? If so, I would like to hear about them as well.
