  1. Oh no… Companies prefer positive reviews over negative ones? And reviewers only get gifts, invites and privileges with the expectation that you praise the product? I'm shocked. SHOCKED, I tell you!

  2. Gullible people will always be gullible… you can't teach common sense.
Most people can see through the BS. If you say otherwise, you're likely one of the gullible.

  3. Forgive my ignorance but in terms of the dual embargo why not just not make a first impressions video. Easily point to this video as to why. I dont think its gonna negatively affect your channel. In fact if reviewers all together just stopped playing the embargo game companies would stop….maybe

  4. With this knowledge, and objective facts, why then won't these very powerful tech influencers take the responsible step of refusing to accept any product, not ready for public sale and distribution? Sure, there are others out there who will comply with the embargo's, but if the big 10 get together and apply their own embargo for reviews, their power will outweigh the manufactures embargo.

We The People have the power to effect these changes, and need to be demanding these responsibility requirements from these tech influencers or we unsubscribe.

  5. Eye-opening but (I suppose) not surprising. A lot of these companies are old hands at advertising, and know all the tricks in the book. But there is a flip side to the out-of-context quoting. An extreme negative statement by one of you highly-regarded reviewers ("worst product I have reviewed", for example) can be severely damaging, because that's all most viewers will see and relay, neglecting all the nuance.

And … I might add … there is absolutely no defense against this kind of attack.

  6. YOU are the reason they do this.
YOU let them get away with it even by exposing them later.
    Thank YOU Mrwhosetheboss and alike.
Maybe you should watch my review and learn something

  7. We are there to support you but plzz dont make us disappoint by saying lie for promoting 😢😢😢.
Buy with own money but plzz give us propper review what is right is right and wrong is wrong . We dont want any thing free from you but right review after testing it ❤❤

  8. As someone who works in PR and influencer marketing, this is how it works: the CEO/department director watches the video, says – wait, we gave them a phone for free and they are not absolutely loving it? TAKE IT DOWN! Tell them something, make something up, like they violated an embargo or something.

  9. It’s simple. If your product is THAT good, you should be confident enough that a big tech reviewer will rave about it.

The level of manipulation we have today with reviewers is disgusting and fraudulent. We’re not making products that will be good and are innovative. Companies are trying to bait and switch to make a quick buck.

  10. It’s simple: don’t agree to those terms. You earn less but it’s a perfect solution for us viewers or you do same like those companies you like to call out loud
