Despite snapping a career-long layoff of 14 months, lightweight superstar Gervonta “Tank” Davis proved on Saturday that he, indeed, ain’t afraid of no “Ghost,” or any other fighter for that matter.

Davis (30-0, 28 KOs), whose team was dressed in “Ghostbusters” gear as he walked to the ring inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena to the movie theme song, took care of unbeaten top contender Frank “The Ghost” Martin with relative ease to defend his WBA title at 135 pounds.

  1. Davis delivered a right and two lefts to Martin's face to send the Indianapolis resident to the canvass for his first career loss after he won his first 18 fights. Tank again proved to be one of boxing's most ferocious punchers, improving to 30-0 — all but two by knockout.

  2. IMO….TANK HAS ALREADY SURPASSED FLLOYD MAYWEATHER…MAYWEATHER HAS SURPASSED EVERY FIGHTER IN HISTORY IN SELLING FIGHTS AND PAYCHECKS..BUT GO BACK TO MAYWEATHER VS PACMAN 1…WORST 100$ IVE EVER WENT 3 WAYS ON..SOR 33 BUCKS LOL…MAYWEATHER WOULD BE IN FOR A L AGAINST TANK.

  3. I know how good tank is..I didn't think Martin would get ko'd..I thought his reach and skill might be the bet to make for tanks first loss..but I also thought that about Garcia…too big I thought..Tank is a living legend. P4P he has to be the top.he fight on the wrong end of size n reach everytime he fights.

  4. Frank had all to win demonstration it in the first 3 rounds but his nightmare was when fear got over him and lost for that reason. Frank is strong, good skills, good movement but fear knocked him first.
