  1. I think I just learned that the vertical axis on a (two-dimensional) graph is called the Z axis in the UK … but it's the X axis where I'm front? If they think X and Z are confusing, imagine your mind navigating "X and Z, which for you is a Y."

  2. Matt Baker just keeps bringing up the max topic despite guests repeatedly saying it’s so unlikely for him to leave (and he already has a contract). This is just nonsense waste of time every time it gets brought up.

  3. The glaring problem with Chinese cars is that they look good, but many are very poorly made. A Google search will tell you that there is little to no quality control, and parts actually start falling off pretty quickly. And their EVs routinely spontaneously combust. I would not trust a Chinese engine builder to be capable of the level of manufacturing using the advanced materials and to the incredible tolerances required for an F1 engine. And of course, every Chinese company is subject to the control of the Communist Party. No Chinese involvement will come without the malign influence of the Party.

  4. Yes, the 2026 aero is very "advanced." Almost (but not quite) as advanced as the 1966 Chaparral 2E and the 1967 2F. It only took F1 three years to bring a less advanced version of wings to GP racing in 1969 and they fell apart so often they were banned.

  5. There would be more places for some of the up and coming young drivers in F1 if there were one or two more teams. Haas brings nothing to the series, Alpine is no great plus either. And yet, FOM and the teams refuse to let "little" General Motors and the "unknown" Andretti family into F1. Go figure.

  6. More of that analysis please. Excellent and without any grandstanding. I do prefer to listen to what has happened and what has been decided, rather than speculation. Thank you so much.

  7. Wouldn't it make more sense for MB to send Antonelli to Williams next year (IF he ever accomplishes anything in F2) and sign Sainz for Mercedes? Sainz and Russell would make a pretty good lineup for Wolf.

  8. Sounds like F1 has been lying for some time!
F1 fuel is supposed to be standard pump fuel, that's why Shell, who supply Ferrari, introduced their 99 RON fuel in Europe when the so called exotic fuel mixes were banned.
Now we're hearing fully sustainable fuel…..
    Champcar/Indycar used Methanol for years.
Nothing special for extinguishant, just plain old water.
It has a far higher octane rating than pump fuel and what they are currently using in F1 or Indycar
That increase in power from Methanol is almost that of the battery power they are talking about using in 2026!
Methanol can be made from almost anything including household waste!
With the amount of cars on the road that already flex fuel capable, that's where the world can reuse and recycle almost all household waste!
Now add the weight saving from the deletion of the battery packs in the cars, equals a fuel efficient racing and road cars!

  9. I wish they stop talking over and over again about Antonelli . I am way more impressed with Maloney he pulled few very very good races and deserves F1 spot .

  10. Sky Sports need a stronger anchor, to silence Kravitz and allow Bernie Collins to showcase her vast expertise. Ted just can't help himself. He loves the sound of his own voice, which probably explains why he has never been promoted out of the paddock. He's a journalist, not an engineer or driver.

  11. What was Ted on about with Valtteri not doing sim work? He religiously posts when he's on there.
Get the distinct feeling Ted is deliberately slandering specific drivers.

  12. I'm astonished no one's ever mentioned Pourchaire for that Sauber seat. Kid's been hyped up his whole junior career, and now that he's won F2, he's completely out of radar…

  13. Why do they have to ruin all the podcast, with women to sport is survived 60 years on men only and now women have to be on every podcast to ruin it

  14. In regards to Valtteri, the dude is still training when he does his extra activities outside of F1… all of the drivers have outside stuff they do to keep them happy – he just happens to be one of the drivers winning things while training.
