I'm pinning this comments just so y'all know that in the US, it is spelled KALLAX so my pronunciation is less weird than it seems.
"Fake Swedish plants" lol
i think the photography class i took was the only class i enjoyed
I like watching this episode. Clever set design, and amazing music.
I didn’t realize I had the same shelf until now when you mentioned it was from IKEA 😅
Robo3d printer?
Alec secretly loves Sweden. XD
Bro fr saw the TVs and went "…and through the magic of buying two of them, I covered the back of the set with colorful lights!"
you really are absurdly weird. Its pretty great, honestly. I think anyone who follows you/this channel is gonna pretty much fall into the same category… Intelligence isn't popular these days, is it?
I’m surprised he doesn’t have a computer motherboard on display too (or does he?) 🤔
Thank you for being so absurdly weird. 😄 You have brought so much joy to my home since I discovered you last year. 🤗
now it is 2.22M 🙂
damn, the lover house
I'm deeply impressed by this. I had the privilege of reading something similar, and it left a deep impression on me. "Reclaiming Connection: The Journey of a Digital Detox" by Joshua Ember
This is a work of art. I read a book with similar content, and it was truly a work of art. "Reclaiming Connection: The Journey of a Digital Detox" by Joshua Ember
sort of random but i own a tektronix type 561b oscilloscope given to me by my grandfather and it works great, the CRT is hilariously long and it has two ports for plugin units both of which are in use, one is a type 3b-4 time base and the other is a 2a-6 dual trace amplifier, the thing has vacuum tubes everywhere and is outdated by today's standards but i use it regularly and it is fantastic, i shining testament to the well built design of electronics in the 70s (the original purchase receipt is from 1971)
Of course you're weird, that's why you've made it, who'd tune in to watch normal?
"Then we see the wee little GE TV that me got for free (tee hee)"
My autistic ass is DELIGHTED by this video and it makes me want to also get some shelves set up to display the random collections of things i have that i think are cool 🙌
You’ve got 2 million now! Any plans for any special celebrations?
You are not weird. You're incredibly informative. I enjoy your content. Also been waiting to see you around so I can shake your hand. You have kept my ADHD having self content for years!
Still rocking out so hard to that credits song. I want this to play during some event where I take center stage. Since I’m in my mid thirties, this isn’t going to just happen anymore like it can for a young person. Maybe i can have a retirement celebration. Whatever it is, I just hope that there is one member of the audience that recognizes the melody, but is convinced that it’s a mainstream song that others would recognize and spends the entirety of my dramatic dance trying to remember the name so that they can nudge their partner and further prove their worth by announcing the song title and providing the answer said partner was also surely looking for. Whether or not that occurs, everyone is going to be excited to see that I’m not just as-libbing my dance, but actually intimately know this song, when I start air-piano-ing the build-up to that final sax wail.
We love your absurd weirdness
Here we are, just under 3 years later, over 2 million 💪💪
I never expected the color grid to be tvs, thought it would be just led strips or bulbs
nice!
“And up here…….
……is some junk.”
I actually used that stand trick in my bedroom. I needed to raise my tv up so I could see it in bed. I put the box for my computer monitor on the drawers. To make it look nicer, I put a cheap blanket (which came with a set of sheets from my dorm) on top of it, and I thought it looked pretty nice. I eventually moved it back to the living room after my roommate left and took his giant tv
1:49 OH NO, THE FIRE HAZARD DRAWER D:
17:25 "TechnologyConnections is my spirit animal.
O-M-G! I figured you had space behind the black furniature and had duratrans prints behind the cubbies. TV's??? BRILLIANT and SO much easier! You are a GENIUS! LOVE that set!
You should finally get yourself some authentic Swedish plants.
So, I'm watching this now because I appreciate what you do so much!
I know I'm WAY too late to pay complements, but man I love that the effort was put in to shoot this like a normal video. Went from "cool! Studio tour!" To antiques road show real quick lmao
You’re great 👍
Look at all those extension cables smh
We need a 2 million subs video
at 1:54 why is the power thing on?
Congratulations!!! Love your channel! Always interested in how things work and why. I admire the work and research you put into your videos. The set is awsome! I'd hope you show how you make your videos….hmm…..there's a video topic for you. Keep up the great educational videos!
This exact same set of shelves is the backdrop on another channel. I swear if the camera pans to the right you'll see another guy filming other content
Who gets to dust all of that?
Ikea Kallax ftw
Any thoughts on using Stable Diffusion to auto-generate infinite backgrounds?
I subscribed long ago because I just really enjoy the outro music.
You mean, you explain how stuff works too?
I'll have to watch some time.
(Congrats on 2 million+ subs)
"Fake Swedish Plant" XD
My favorite concurring line, imma start using that
