Holly crap nephew Nigel look exactly like Uncle Roger also I a white person wanna die right after what I saw. Also " unseasoned white rice" yo what
Nothing like watching incompetent Asians seethe over better chefs
As a Filipino fan i would agree with Uncle Roger on what he said
As filipino ty for know are food and im shock eent he said parcley i got my to of my leg down in chair
I've lived in the Philippines for about 5 years and I love adobo but, that yankee city slicker is f'ing up that adobo.
2:49 "FANCY!!"
Actually there's 2 kinds of adobo it's dry or the watery one,if you like the sauce just add water,it depends on your liking but definitely no parsley and habanero in it,,adobo is just a simple dish, white people just mess it up with adding so much in it
As a filipino putting parsely is cursed
I use A5 in my adobo!! Best ever!!
Uncle Roger: sorry children
Me: fells off
as a pilipino my ancestor cry
when he put parsley, i just automatically said "putangina!"
haiyaa i am from filipino And Adobo With Lemon HAIYAA Why And habanero
"Still no A/C" caption 😂 Don't worry Uncle Roger, sweating normal and encouraged in Asian culture 💦
No parsley,👹
He was not called soup guy for nothing…wait, suit guy? My bad.
These chefs just can't resist the pull of Columbus syndrome.
So where's the whole video? Been waiting for daysss hahah
When you’re a cook tycoon You cam put anything on food although it’s not appropriate.
The only Filipino food that's acceptable to put parsley or cilantro is Pancit Bihon.
I have been summond
bland
Does this have a full video?
I love how he's clearly 60+ and is still a nephew 😂
As a filipino
I will slightly appreciate if he put green onions on top of that rice and adobo but parsley? 🤮
I don’t eat or know Filipino food.
I don’t always agree with his content.
But he’s just.. so amazing.
This feels like the two people reacting was filmed seperately and spliced in later because of the feeling that they are being ignored. It's jarring.
Uncle Roger's knowledge on filipino food, which makes me happy but those american "chefs" are just modifying the filipino food to fit their taste than following traditional way! That's just hurts to every filipino watching that american "cook"
the overproud pinoys have been summoned
As a filipino, the cooking is like breaking spaghetti and using ketchup…… but worse. 🤦🤦
I cook by a simple rule, if the language of an ingredient doesn't match the dish im cooking, i dont use it.
still married to exwife
Adobo is dry, only a little bit of the sauce so u can put it in the rice but that adobo is super watery, not dry and baddest of all is its looks like a beef steak but its a chicken, its a adobo thats beef steak
As a filipino. I live in the philippines and like filipino. We speak filipino and cook filipino food. Did I mention I am filipino?
That’s is the most disgusting adobo ever.
Why are chefs like Rachel Ray and Geoffrey shitting up on such delicious food instead in the toilet?
If someone ruins Sisig, I’m declaring WAR
I’ve grown up with soupy adobo. We just add more soy sauce and vinegar and a lot of peppercorn and garlic to make it flavorful. My lola braises it for at least an hour so the chicken is super tender! It’s so good to douse your white rice with the sauce too lol
Hello uncle Roger. The garlic thing is so very correct. Usually, we dice or chop them. Overall, very correct. Also, add some oil in there! For the lemon, change with calamansi.
why they used lemon instead of calamansi haiyaaaaaa😾😾😾
suit guy adds habanero
me: oh this ain't good
adds only a little garlic
me: yeah. too little, no garlic taste for sure
adds too much water, WAY TOO MUCH WATER
me: this would taste like onion water, this guy def fuvked up
adds parsley
me: *goes along with Tito Roger with "parsley in adobo, what the fuvk, what the fuvk"
puts lemon at side
me: aaaaaaaaaaAaaaa
i am young and even i know he fuvked up. if i cooked this for a family event, my grandpa will rise from his grave and hit me with his slipper. Tito Roger is saying haiya, but this is beyond haiya. Filipinos know.
Why is he making it fancy
yea, Food network when they make international dishes, i call it "Clueless Chefs ruining international cuisines." I think we need cooking shows made by Grandmas of all ethnic / cultural backgrounds. Nobody cooks better than a grandma whose been cooking since she was a little girl. To know the soul of a people, taste the recipes of one's grandma.
