I like the 2011 one better

There goes 1.5 hrs. of my life I can't get back. This movie was awful, terrible actor's and horrible special effects.
The Capt. of the submarine was in Spin City sitcom as the mayor, he was funny and should stick to comedy because he was awful as well.

Good movie,but prehistoric whales never got that big, even Livyatan.

So many good minor actors wasted lol – original material 10/10, adaption 2/10, dialogue 3/10. monster special effects 0/10, continuity 2/10, ending 1/10, overall rating – let it sink to crush depth and never resurface.
